SHIP HER SON is a Ukrainian post-industrial act formed in Lviv in 2020 by designer Anton Shiferson. The project presents an aggressive blend of robotic vocals and a cold mix of EBM, darkwave, electro-industrial, and techno, drawing heavy influence from bands like Einstürzende Neubauten, Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Laibach, and :Wumpscut:, along with a significant infusion of metal. The lyrics often use irony to reflect on life and human behavior, with numerous references to Ukrainian culture, perceptions, and traditions.
The project started with two EPs in the summer of 2020 and in May 2021 the debut album Essen was released. In June 2021 the Ship Her Son remix of Till Lindemann's single Ich hasse Kinder was released in the digital version. The Alles wird gut EP followed in July 2022. The most recent work is the double single Into Eternity / Inhale, released in July 2024.
